We take security seriously. We're ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (information security) and ISO 9001:2015 (quality management system) certified. With our online system, your employees will only have to upload their personal details once, adding another layer of protection.
As per regulatory requirements, we only store personal information and results for a period of 3 months.
We adhere to the regulations set out by the background checking authority (ACIC) and Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988), in relation to storage and handling applicants personal data.
Applicants have the option to review results and provide consent or withhold results that contain Security Relevant Offences, giving them more control over their personal data. Organisations are protected from viewing unnecessary information about their workers.
With our online system, in most cases results will be returned within 24 hours. However results depend on government agencies and more complex applications may take longer. The status of applications can be viewed in our online management portal.
